‘KK’ from GK is winner again!

The master at art films Dr Girish Kasaravalli ‘Gulabi Talkies’ won more than 30 awards at the state, national and international levels. The present film of Dr Girish Karasavalli for producer Basanthkumar Patil again ‘Kanasemba Kudureyaneri’ has bagged awards at the recent National film awards for screenplay and regional cinema.

The news now is that the film bagged two prestigious awards at the Rome festival for 2010. It won the best film award and best Asian Cinema –Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) NPAC award.

Dr Girish Kasaravalli in an email stated that he is extremely happy for such recognitions from Rome. He is back to Bangalore on 23rd of November.

‘Kanasemba Kudureyaneri’ stars Biradar and Umasri in the lead. Umasri bagged the national best actress for her performance in ‘Gulabi Talkies’ two years ago.
